Jo-El’s kosher delicatessen in St. Petersburg has graciously offered a bogo on challot (buy one, get one free) to participating hosts, in keeping with the tradition from Exodus in which God provided a double portion of manna to be gathered before the day of rest.
Anyone who would like to honor their hosts or the program may contribute to a fund to purchase additional benchers for home use.
Maureen Shacter maintains a spreadsheet of all congregants and can tell you who has already been asked, as well as suggest additional names if you wish.
