Sisterhood of Congregation B’nai Israel
2017-2018 Torah Fund Campaign 5778
Tuesday, January 30, 2017 6:00 PM
We are rejoicing in the 100th Anniversary of Women’s League! This is the dedicated philanthropy of Women’s League for Conservative Judaism. We support learning to the highest levels, and can look with pride this High Holiday season at our Rabbi Jacob Luski and Cantor Jonathan Schultz. Both of whom were educated by the scholarship and programs of our seminaries.
This year’s Torah Fund theme, as depicted in our beautiful gold and silver pin, is Mah Tovu, “How goodly are your tents, O Jacob, your dwellings, O Israel!” We are blessed in our synagogues with acts of kindness that bind us together, with the love of family and friends – especially our Women’s League sisters – who are such a strong support to us. We hope you will consider participating. Please send your check made out to TORAH FUND to Vivian Lurie, 12600 86th Ave., Seminole, FL 33776 , and you will be given the appropriate pin. Pins are available at the synagogue office, from Vivian Lurie or Kathleen Buns, our Co-Gifts Chairs.
May the year of Torah Fund be a beautiful blessing for you and your family! Wear your Torah Fund pin proudly during our High Holiday services and always.
