Preschool

Pauline Rivkind Early Childhood Education Center is dedicated to providing an outstanding childhood program which emphasizes Jewish life and values in a caring, developmentally appropriate, and stimulating environment. Children are encouraged to develop their minds and bodies through creative play in a nurturing, non-competitive environment. Pauline Rivkind Preschool welcomes families of all faiths and ethnic origins to the program. A fully-staffed faculty ensures that children can grow with the program from infancy to pre-Kindergarten:

Religious School

Pauline Rivkind Talmud Torah is designed to provide students with a well-rounded Hebrew and Jewish education. In addition to offering classes in Hebrew, Bible, History, and Holiday Studies, PRTT places special emphasis on the study of Tzedakah (charity) and Tefillah (prayer). PRTT welcomes children from Kindergarden to 7th Grade.

Mehina & Hebrew High offers thought provoking topics that study Jewish history and future, leading to engaging discussions that inspire teachers and students alike. Students continue their Jewish education from PRTT by entering Mehina, a transitional year to ready students for the more critical thinking and in-depth learning that will await them in Hebrew High. Together, Mehina & Hebrew High include students from 8th – 12th grade.

Youth Groups

CBI is pleased to offer Kadima & USY to the St. Petersburg Jewish community’s youth. USY (United Synagogue Youth) inspires Jewish youth to explore, celebrate, and practice ethical values, Jewish Living, Zionism, and community responsibility based on the ideology of the Conservative Movement. Kadima is the middle school age affiliate of United Synagogue Youth and The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

Adults

CBI’s Adult Studies programming offers a diverse set of dynamic and engaging programs for all interests. A few Adult Studies programs include CBI-Hadassah Book Club, Torah for Seniors, Lunch with the Rabbi, Sunday Morning University, and Talmud Made Easy.

CBI-ish welcomes those who are 20ish – 40ish for game nights, Shabbat dinners, social activities, and more. Some popular past events include bowling and Rays games.
