Sell Chametz & Donate to Maot Chittim Fund

Note: Leading halachic authorities have ruled that online authorizations are acceptable for the purpose of selling chametz. The traditional and preferred practice, however, is for the authorization transaction to be done in person with Rabbi Weintraub.

If you have multiple addresses, i.e. live part of the year out of state, you must fill out a chametz form for each of your addresses

This form must be signed and returned to Rabbi Weintraub by Monday, April 22nd at 8:30AM.

If you are not logged into your B'nai Israel account, you must provide the physical address where the Chametz included in this sale is located. This contract is invalid without this information.

In case Rabbi Weintraub needs to contact you.

I, the undersigned, fully empower and permit Rabbi Philip Weintraub to act in my place and stead, and in my place to sell all chametz possessed by me as defined by Torah and Rabbinic law. Rabbi Weintraub is also empowered and permitted to lease all places wherein the chametz owned by me may be found.

Rabbi Weintraub has the full right to sell and lease by transactions, as he deems fit and proper, for such time which he believes necessary.

Also do I hereby give the said Rabbi Philip Weintraub full power and authority to appoint a substitute in his stead with full power to sell and lease as provided herein. The above given power is in conformity with all Torah and Rabbinical laws and regulations, and also in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and of the United States.

This box must be checked in order to execute this contract.

By entering my printed name I acknowledge that electronic signatures have the same legal effect as ink signatures.

It is traditional to make a contribution when selling Chametz to help provide Matzah for those who cannot afford it. You are not obligated to contribute, and any amount is welcome.
