Our tradition teaches us to honor the memory of our beloved at the Yizkor services on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Pesach and Shavuot. At Congregation B’nai Israel, we embrace this tradition. Each year, our congregants submit the names of their loved ones to be included in our annual Book of Remembrance and honor their memories with charitable donations. Free-will contributions were made in accordance with the hallowed Jewish tradition.
