Shabbat Service Schedule and Links:
Friday Night Services time vary, Saturday Morning Services at 9:00 am
We have two opportunities to view our live stream Shabbat services: via StreamSpot and Facebook Live. Consider watching via Facebook so we can gather online 'Side by Side'!
Check the calendar for a detailed schedule of Kabbalat Shabbat times and locations. Most services are now in-person at 6:30 pm but times may vary and some services may occasionally be held via Zoom. Feel free to contact the CBI office if you want to confirm the week's Kabbalat Shabbat service time.
Live Shabbat Morning Services
CBI offers weekly Shabbat morning services in the Benstock Family sanctuary beginning at 9:00 am. These are the same services that are livestreamed. Facebook Live is not as reliable as our website for virtual Shabbat and Festival services. If the Facebook link is not working, watch services with the player above instead.
*Technology Updates:
Facebook LIVE has many advantages but is particularly sensitive to Internet challenges. In the event of Facebook LIVE interruption, visit www.cbistpete.org/virtualcbiservices to view our services via StreamSpot.
Closed Captioning on Facebook Live:
To allow for greater involvement, we allow for closed captioning created automatically by Facebook Live. You may turn these off from a desktop computer. To do this, open Facebook and click the “down arrow” icon in the top right corner. Select 'Videos. ' From there, click 'Off,' then select 'Always Show Captions. ' You can also turn the captions on from within the iOS app by tapping 'Settings,' then 'General > Accessibility > Subtitles & Captioning.
Live Stream
Online Friday night services will be held via Zoom and mirrored on Facebook Live. During the month of January, Friday services will be held in person in the Sanctuary. Check the calendar for times and further information.
Side by Side on YouTube
Visit our YouTube channel for Shabbat tunes, holiday melodies, and more from Hazzan Jonathan Schultz, Morah Maureen Sechan, and Rabbi Philip Weintraub.
