Learn more about our "A" rated Voluntary pre-Kindergarten education program. Whether your child is already enrolled, or if you want more information about enrolling a child in our program, make sure to join us on Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 pm. Light snacks will be provided.

The Voluntary pre-Kindergarten (VPK) education program is a FREE educational program created to prepare every 4 year old in Florida for Kindergarten and to build the foundation for their educational success. The VPK program offers each child an opportunity to perform better in school and throughout life by offering quality programs that include developmentally appropriate curricula with a focus on early literacy skills, developmental standards, accountability, substantial instruction periods, manageable class sizes, and qualified instructors.

We focus on child-centered and developmentally appropriate play-based learning facilitated through art, science, Hebrew language, math, and emergent literacy. Enrichment activities include: Soccer Shots, Gymnastics, Music & Me, LLC, Hebrew Music, Art with Rebecca, Reading with Rabbi Philip Weintraub, and ongoing intergenerational Jewish & secular programming with our neighbors Menorah Manor and Philip Benjamin Tower.

All are welcome! Our Center is open year-round from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. The Pauline Rivkind Early Childhood Education Center has been serving families in the community since 1958.

Spots are limited. Prior event RSVP preferred to allow for adequate materials. Signing up for this event does not guarantee a spot in our VPK program.
