COVID-19 Update:
April 22, 2021
PRECEC currently remains closed.
August 24, 2020
We remain hopeful PRECEC will open; however, our entire campus remains closed with employees working offsite. We do not know when we will be able to return in-person to begin the necessary work to re-imagine the school in light of present circumstances.
Don't miss out on the fun and call for a tour today!

Children ages 8 weeks through VPK and their families thrive in our “home away from home.” We focus on child-centered and developmentally appropriate play-based learning facilitated through art, science, Hebrew language, math, and emergent literacy.
All are welcome!
The Pauline Rivkind Early Childhood Education Center has been serving families in the community since 1958.
Our Mission Statement
The Pauline Rivkind Early Childhood Education Center is dedicated to providing an outstanding early childhood education program that emphasizes Jewish life and values in a caring, developmentally appropriate, and stimulating environment. Partnering with our families, our goal is to provide our students with a strong social and pre-academic foundation that encourages a life-long love of learning.
We believe:
- In educating the whole child by nurturing a child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- In fostering independence and creativity, and appreciating each child’s individual needs and talents.
- Preschool is a time for children and their families to strengthen their connection to Judaism and its traditions.
- Preschool is when children form friendships that last a lifetime.
Philosophy
Where education is a work of heart!
Pauline Rivkind Early Childhood Education Center is committed to offering a safe, caring, and stimulating environment in which children can explore and learn by experiencing creative hands-on and age-appropriate activities presented by qualified professional staff. Our curriculum is carefully designed to coincide with stages in all areas of children’s development: physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and creative.
Children are encouraged to develop their minds and bodies through creative play in a nurturing, non-competitive environment. Pauline Rivkind Preschool welcomes families of all faiths and ethnic origins to the program.
Our teachers offer many opportunities for children to practice physical skills, to learn problem-solving, to gain knowledge of their environment, and to practice interacting effectively with others. We help stimulate a child’s natural curiosity so he/she will develop a lifetime love of learning.
It is our goal to establish an organized facility with open communication between the administration, staff, and parents, in support of a positive environment for all. Parents are an important part of children’s learning experiences; we are partners in the education and care of our children.
We are dedicated to enriching children’s experiences in Jewish heritage. Jewish learning is enhanced as children experience Jewish traditions and special Shabbat and holiday celebrations.
